Timcheh e.V.

The term “Timcheh” (reads Tim-che [tɪm-t͡ʃə]) means a “small Caravansary”. As a part of Bazaar- the liveliest and socially diverse hub in cities of Iran- Timcheh is a space to pause; A space that offers a chance to individuals from different social and cultural backgrounds to encounter and interact. The “Timecheh“ longs to recreate this pause within the space we live in as travelers, migrants, and locals; it invites us to listen, observe, and reflect on our diverse, yet familiar cultural motifs. To achieve this goal, we want to go beyond the geographical limitations and cultural barriers by establishing a cross-border and cross-cultural platform that facilitates collaborations between independent contemporary Iranian and international artists.
